The pet we're named after — and a Plants vs. Zombies minigame hidden in Hillsbrad.
Requirements
- Level — 20
- Faction — Alliance
- Time — 30–60 minutes for all five
Where
Brazie the Botanist — Hillsbrad Foothills, (33, 49)
The five quests
All from Brazie, in order. Each one is harder than the last.
- Basic Botany
- Flower Power
- Ghouls Hate My Grains
- Someone Setup the Pumpkin Bomb
- Lawn of the Dead ← the pet drops here
The field
Ghouls walk right-to-left down 5 lanes, 8 squares each. If one reaches your house, you fail and restart the quest.
Sun is everything. It builds on its own, and Sunflowers make it build faster. Every plant costs sun to place.
What to plant
| Plant | Sun | Does |
|---|---|---|
| Sunflower | 10 | Makes more sun. |
| Rock Nut | 15 | Wall. Blocks a lane until it's chewed through. |
| Spitter | 20 | 50 poison damage a shot. Your main gun. |
| Freezya | 20 | 35 damage and slows what it hits. |
| Strangler Vine | 30 | Traps and damages. Won't hold bosses, still hurts them. |
| Pumpkin Bomb | 40 | Blows up everything next to it. |
The braindead strategy
- Sunflowers first. Fill the back two columns before you build anything else.
- Then Spitters, one per lane, in front of the sunflowers.
- Rock Nut any lane that's getting through.
- Only buy a Pumpkin Bomb when a lane is already lost.
Your gear, spec and level do nothing in here. You can't outlevel it — you just have to play it.
The reward
Brazie's Sunflower Seeds → Singing Sunflower.
In pet battles it's an Elemental:
| Ability | Does |
|---|---|
| Sunlight | Changes the weather to sunny. |
| Solar Beam | Big hit, bigger in sun, then recharges for two rounds. |
| Photosynthesis | Heal over time, about twice as strong in sun. |
